The Evangelism Committee is hosting a special Valentine’s Evening for the whole family on Saturday, February 12th. We are going to have a few games for the family to play followed by movies. That’s right movies!
Adults will get to enjoy a date-night movie “License to Wed” while we take care of the babysitting with a children’s movie “Mulan”. Games begin at 7pm with movies at 7:30. There will be a concession stand with goodies to purchase at a small cost. Everyone is encouraged to come and enjoy a great Family Night!
For our January meeting, Joe Tallent from Effingham Hospital talked about the expansion that is being added to the present facility. He pointed out the many areas of upgrading that will be taking place. The construction work should be finished in 2012.
Besides the program, 42 folks enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by Charlie & Melinda Heidt, Cheryl Pannal, and Georgia Foss. Thank you to them and everyone else who brought items to share and/or helped clean up afterwards.
Our meeting next month will be on Wednesday, February 23rd. Bill Tyson, our County Extension Director, will be our guest speaker. He always has plenty of information to share. So come on out to enjoy good social time, delicious food, and an educational program. Bring a friend!
