Every year, the Lutheran churches of the Ebenezer Conference join together to celebrate our Lutheran Heritage in a Joint Reformation Service. This is a high festival of the Church, so the color of the day is RED! This year’s service will be at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 27th. Place TBA.
This is always a meaningful worship for us who continue in the footsteps of the great reformers of the Church. We hope you will come and represent Zion, join in our joy as we thank God for his Church, and greet our Lutheran brothers and sisters in Christ in fellowship after the service.

The Ninth Triennial Gathering of the Women of the ELCA will take place in Charlotte, North Carolina on July 24th – 27th, 2014. The theme for the gathering is “Of Many Generations”. This gathering only happens every 3 years and it is only 4 hours away. We are encouraging ladies of all ages to take advantage of this opportunity. Registration cost is $325 through January 16, 2014. There will be opportunities for Bible study, learning, renewal, worship and much more as we join with thousands of our Lutheran sisters. Zion will have a group attending. More information is available at www.womenoftheelca.org. Please contact Dana Lee for a registration form or more information. Three monthly Bible Study opportunities are available for all women of Zion. Please see meeting dates, times and places on the calendar page of Zionews. If you’re not sure which one fits your needs, you are invited to visit each group. All Zion women are members of WELCA. Come join us and get involved!
Six of our ladies travelled to our Southeastern Synod Women of the ELCA convention. This year’s convention was on September 20th– 22nd in Natchez, MS.
