Thanks to all who helped make VBS a wonderful experience for all who attended. A total of 65 were enrolled: 35 children, 12 LYO helpers and 18 adults.
The children learned about God’s Promises to us. They learned the best Promise was sending Jesus to be our Savior. They learned that God is always with us. Sir Luther and Eddy the Otter were our guides down the River.
The kids loved the music this year and they learned sign language for all of the songs. They are really quick learners and did an awesome job.
A very special thanks to the Middle and High School students who stayed on site and helped. We couldn’t have done it without them. Every one of them worked hard and made our VBS a success. Our church can be very proud of our young people.
Our Mission this year was Manna House. Manna House provides food and a thrift store for the needy. We collected $217.00 and a raft full of 26 canned goods as well as a random donation for $50.00 .Thanks to everyone for your generous support.
Friday was Water Day. What a fun day! That evening we had a hotdog supper with the VBS closing program following.
Thanks to everyone who helped plan, set-up, volunteered, assisted with the hotdog supper and closing program. A special thanks to those who stayed and helped with clean-up afterwards.
